1. Day Calgary - Banff
Your motorcoach adventure will commence downtown Calgary this morning, heading towards the resort town of Banff. Upon arrival, a sightseeing excursion will provide an overview of the main highlights in the area, plus a ride on the Banff Gondola up Sulphur Mountain. Your next two overnights will be spent in town, giving you plenty of opportunities to explore the many shops and restaurants.
2. Day Banff
Your day is free to experience all that Banff has to offer! You may wish to take an optional tour, lake cruise, rent a canoe, go hiking, biking or roller blading or just spend some time exploring the town site. A visit to the Whyte Museum is included.
3. Day Banff - Jasper
Today your journey will take you north along the Icefields Parkway. After a stop at the Athabasca Glacier to ride on a Ice Explorer (seasonal*) you will continue on to Jasper for your next two nights accommodation.
4. Day Jasper
A morning discovery excursion of Jasper will include many fantastic sights including Pyramid Lake and Maligne Canyon (seasonal*). Following your tour you will take a cruise on Maligne Lake with a stop at the famous Spirit Island, providing opportunity to photograph one of the most popular lakes in the world. The afternoon is at your leisure and the overnight is spent at your chosen Jasper hotel.
5. Day Jasper - Lake Louise
You will have a free morning to see more of the town and Jasper National Park before you are transferred on an express service to Lake Louise.
6. Day Lake Louise - Lac Le Jeune
This morning you will continue westward though the Canadian Rockies, travelling over the Kicking Horse Pass and the Continental Divide to reach Revelstoke by lunchtime. The journey will then continue through the interior of British Columbia, and an evening buffet at the peaceful Lac Le Jeune resort will await you upon arrival.
7. Day Lac Le Jeune - Whistler
After breakfast, you will follow the Duffey Lake Road through rolling mountains and glaciers, with a lunch stop in Lillooet before arriving at Whistler Village resort. Take time to explore the hiking trails, golf courses, shops and restaurants in Whistler.
8. Day Whistler - Vancouver
After a free morning, you will travel along the magnificent Sea to Sky Highway into Vancouver to complete your journey either downtown or at the Vancouver International Airport. |
