1. Day Vancouver - Whistler
Your motorcoach adventure begins this morning departing from Vancouver International Airport or selected downtown hotels, along the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler. A free afternoon will provide opportunity to explore all that this bustling resort town has to offer, before spending the night in your selected Whistler hotel.
2. Day Whistler - Lac Le Jeune
A late morning departure from Whistler will take you eastbound into the interior of British Columbia. Travel through the scenic mountain ranges and glaciers of Duffey Lake Road with a lunch stop at the historic village of Lillooet. Continue on through Cache Creek and Kamloops areas to arrive at Lac Le Jeune Resort in time for your evening dinner.
3. Day Lac Le Jeune - Lake Louise
After breakfast, depart for your onward journey to the Canadian Rockies. Following a lunch stop in Revelstoke your motorcoach journey will continue over the Kicking Horse Pass and the Continental Divide to arrive at Lake Louise, the 'Jewel of the Rockies' for your evening stay.
4. Day Lake Louise - Jasper
Today your journey will take you northwards along the Icefields Parkway. After a stop at the Athabasca Glacier including an interpretive tour on the Snocoach Ice Explorer (seasonal*), you will continue on to Jasper for your two nights stay.
5. Day Jasper
Enjoy a morning excursion of the Jasper townsite including surrounding lakes and canyons. An afternoon cruise on Maligne Lake (seasonal*), with a stop at the famous Spirit Island, will provide opportunity to photograph one of the most famous lakes in the world.
6. Day Banff
This afternoon you will board an express transfer into the resort town of Banff for a two-night stay.
7. Day Banff
A morning excursion of Banff with a ride on the Banff Gondola will give you opportunity to experience the many delights of this alpine town. You will also have time to visit the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies.
8. Day Calgary
Today, transfer to Calgary airport or downtown Calgary to conclude your Rockies Treasures journey. |
