Introduction: Spectacular glaciers, historic ports and picture perfect sceneries, a private deluxe stateroom with a balcony, personalized onboard services and world-class sightseeing opportunities along the famous Inside Passage, the Gulf of Alaska and the heart of Americas’s Last Frontier are the primary attractions during your Alaska Cruise. Is there a better and easier way for a traveler to experience the isolated coastline of Southeast Alaska? We do not believe so. The cruise lines call Alaska Natures amazing Showcase and indeed it is.

1. Day Seward/Anchorage
During the Good Friday Earthquake of 1964, the residents of Seward were horrified to see a tidal wave over 100 feet tall wash away most of the waterfront. However, this charming town, embodying the famous Alaskan spirit and fortitude, was rebuild and is now home to 3,000 residents. Seward was originally founded in 1903 as the southern terminus for the Alaska Railroad, a distinction it still holds today. Modern-day residents are primarily associated with commercial fishing, tourism and the railroad. The picturesque harbor with its colorful wood-frame houses and background of soaring cliffs looks out on Resurrection Bay, so named by a band of Russians explorers who found this calm spot along the storm-tossed Gulf of Alaska on Easter Sunday. Seward is also the gateway to spectacular Kenai Fjords National Park, with its distinctive rock formations, massive glaciers and abundant wildlife, including a colony of 40,000 puffins. Seward with a population of 3000 is a scenic town flanked by rugged mountains on one side and the salmon filled Resurrection Bay on the other. It is the only town on the eastern side of the Kenai Peninsula. Note: we offer a variety of Alaska Land Tour Packages from 03-21 Days including Denali National Park, Katmai Bear Viewing, Alaska’s Arctic and to Kodiak Island. Please inquire. Departure Seward 18:00
2. Day Hubbard Glacier Cruising:
Hubbard Glacier is the one glacier in the world that does not move at a glacial pace. Quite the opposite. In fact, in 1986, Hubbard Glacier - the largest tidewater glacier on the North American continent - moved an average of just under 5.5 feet per hour. Keep a watchful eye as you sail through the Yakutat Bay, as you may be a witness to geological history. Arrival 12:00 / Departure 17:00
3. Day Sitka:
Touring St. Michael's Cathedral (Lincoln Street), distinctive for its onion-domed architecture. But the church isn't an antique; it was rebuilt, to original specifications, after a fire in 1966, reopening a decade later. The cathedral also has what is reputed to be the largest number of Russian icons in the U.S. The Sitka National Historical Park Visitor Center (Lincoln Road) for exhibits of Southeast Alaskan culture. There are demos of traditional crafts of the Tlingit tribe (silversmithing, weaving, basketry) and you can hike a self-guided, short trail to the Tlingit Fort; on the way you'll pass more than a dozen distinctive Totem poles. Shopping in Sitka, where stores like the Russian American Co. (407 Lincoln Street), Log Cache (206 Lincoln Street) and the Isobel Miller Museum's gift shop (Centennial Hall, 330 Harbor Drive) sell heritage items. Old Harbor Books (201 Lincoln Street) is a great source for books on Sitka and southeast Alaska. There are a handful of art galleries as well, such as Sitka Rose (419 Lincoln Street), which sells Alaskan arts and crafts. Arrival 08:00 / Departure 17:00
4. Day Tracy Arm Fjords & Juneau:
Long and deep, scenic and spectacular, Tracy Arm stretches 30 miles through Alaskan fjord to the active, tidewater Sawyer Glaciers. Beginning south of Juneau, it skirts the Canadian border through a wilderness of water- and ice-falls. The fjord's fathomless waters meet right up with the coast, meaning that the ship can get a rare, close look at the nature on shore. Bears and their cubs amble through the forest among the moose, wolves, deer, and gorgeous white mountain goats. In some places, the cliffs on either side of the ship stretch thousands of feet into the air. Established as a gold camp and now Alaska's capital city Juneau is the third largest city within the state. Juneau is full of contrasts, a sophisticated cosmopolitan city in the heart of the lush green Tongass National Forest. Nestled at the base of towering mountains dominated by the 1500 square mile Juneau Icefield and overlooking the Gastineau Channel, the community's rich culture and history is displayed throughout the town. Tracy Arm Arrival 07:00 / Departure 10:00. Juneau Arrival 13:00 / Departure 23:00
5. Day Skagway:
As you approach Skagway, you'll see the town resting peacefully at the base of a river valley bordered by the Coast Mountain Range. The mountains, ranging from 5,000 to 7,000 feet in height, seem to rise straight up from the saltwater fjord. Once on land, the streets of Skagway draw you back to 1898 when this idyllic native fishing village and nearby Deya had a population of about 20.000 during the most fanatic Gold Rush in history. Today, wooden sidewalks, old-fashioned saloons, quaint gift shops and horse-drawn carriages serve as reminders of the famous Alaskan Gold Rush days. Don’t miss am adventurous trip with the historic White Pass Yukon Railroad completed in 1890 with the driving of a golden spike in Carcross/Yukon. The narrow gauge railroad climbs about 3000 ft within just 20 Miles. Arrival 07:00 / Departure 17:00
6. Day Ketchikan:
Ketchikan was built along a steep hillside, with sections of the town built right over the water on pilings. The scenic rustic boardwalks on Creek Street preserves a distinct historic feel. Look along the water line and you're likely to see many bald eagles on waterside perches. An outstanding collection of majestic totem poles within the Saxman Village make a visit to Ketchikan essential for anyone interested in Native art. The towns nickname - Salmon Capital of the World was already established in 1936 when seven canneries produced 1.5 Mio cases of salmon. The abundance of salmon continues to provide outstanding sportfishing opportunities for visitors in Southeast Alaska. Arrival 13:00 / Departure 19:00
7. Day At Sea:
All it takes to get the inside story of Alaska's beauty is a trip through the Inside Passage, Alaska's "water highway", where majestic fjords compete for your attention with mountain masterpieces carved by the glaciers. Small fishing villages along the coast dot breathtaking panoramas and the protected waters are perfect for spotting marine mammals and other wildlife.
8. Day Vancouver:
Often thought of as Canada's most beautiful city, Vancouver is a gorgeous thriving metropolis that's fortunate enough to be flanked by the ocean and mountains. With its numerous parks, beaches, gardens, museums, art galleries and ethnic diversity, Vancouver is one of those rare places that actually lives up to its promise of offering something for everyone. Tipps to visit Vancouver: Few locations offer a more spectacular view of this dynamic city than Stanley Park. The park offers miles of walking trails and bike paths, including an aquarium, outdoor pool, tennis courts and more. Granville Island's Public Market on Vancouver's west side is a wonderful place to grab a quick bite, shop for a gourmet meal and find unique souvenirs with its variety of shops, stalls and galleries. Robson Street and the surrounding downtown offer the best shopping and people-watching in town. Stores with European flair share the avenue with delicatessens, modern boutiques, coffee houses, and a myriad of ethnic eateries. Arrival 07:00
